Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Jewish College Review ("the Site", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. To submit a review you must hold a valid .edu email address from a university in our directory. By submitting a review you represent that you are or were a student at the school you are reviewing.

3. User-generated content

Reviews and other content you submit ("Your Content") remain yours. By submitting Your Content you grant Jewish College Review a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and distribute it on the Site.

You are solely responsible for Your Content. By submitting, you represent that:

• Your Content reflects your genuine, first-hand experience
• Your Content does not contain false statements of fact presented as true
• Your Content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party
• You have the right to grant us the license above

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit reviews for schools you did not attend
• Submit multiple reviews for the same school using different accounts
• Impersonate any person, university, or organization
• Post content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Attempt to manipulate ratings or overall scores artificially
• Use automated tools to scrape, submit, or interact with the Site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure

5. Content moderation

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or decline to display any content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful, inaccurate, or contrary to the purpose of the Site. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so.

6. Opinions and accuracy

Reviews on this Site represent the personal opinions and experiences of individual students. Jewish College Review does not verify the accuracy of any review and expressly disclaims all responsibility for the content of user-submitted reviews. Nothing on this Site should be construed as an endorsement of, or factual statement about, any university or organization.

7. Intellectual property

All original content on the Site, including the design, logo, and software — is owned by or licensed to Jewish College Review. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

8. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful to the Site, other users, or third parties. You may delete your own account by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jewish College Review and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, or from any content posted on the Site, including decisions made in reliance on reviews. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
